Sitz Bath Postpartum NZ | Organic Calendula Sitz Bath Salts
Some of the most healing care you'll give yourself happens in the quiet of a warm bath. Mineral-rich Epsom salt and organic botanicals — calendula, chamomile, witch hazel and oat — hand-blended to turn the tender first weeks after birth into a daily ritual of repair.
- Eases swelling and soothes tender, tired muscles
- Calms and supports delicate, healing skin
- Gentle relief for stitches and haemorrhoids
- No synthetic fragrance, dyes or fillers — bottled in reusable glass
How to use
Fill a sitz bath basin (or shallow bath) with warm — not hot — water (around 36–38°C). Add 2 tablespoons and stir to dissolve. Soak for 10–20 minutes, once or twice a day, then gently pat dry. Most mums begin around 24 hours after a vaginal birth, once any initial bleeding has settled — if you've had stitches or a more complex repair, check timing with your LMC midwife.
